Erin C. Farabaugh concentrates her practice in corporate law, providing corporate legal services at all stages of the business life cycle. Erin represents clients in a variety of industries, including professional services, emerging technology, banking, health care and retail. Representative experience includes:
- Successfully completing retail franchisee’s acquisition of more than 20 store locations.
- Preparing proposals, terms and conditions, and Master Service Agreements for a surveying and geotechnical company.
- Negotiating and closing a stock sale for a closely-held insurance company.
- Negotiating and revising oil and gas leases on behalf of commercial property owners.
- Advising on appropriate business formation for various companies spanning industries from professional services to real estate to retail.
- Preparing loan documents; vendor/customer and other third party agreements; warranties and disclaimers; employment agreements; confidentiality, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements; and shareholder agreements.
- Handling commercial real estate transactions, including preparation of letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, lease and management agreements, and options agreements; and review of title issues and preparation of final closing documents.
Prior to joining private practice, Erin served as an intern at the University of Pittsburgh Family Law Clinic. She also served as a Legal Extern to the Honorable Donald E. Machen and the Honorable Kathleen R. Mulligan.
In 2010, Erin was selected for inclusion in Pennsylvania Rising Stars, Business and Corporate Practice.
