Houston Harbaugh is located in Gateway Center bordering the hub of downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Within the Gateway Center Complex, our office is in Three Gateway Center. For your convenience, ample parking is available in Gateway Center's parking garage. You can access the garage from either the Boulevard of the Allies, across from The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette building, or from Liberty Avenue, opposite from Three Gateway Center and The Pittsburgh Hilton Hotel.
While the Port Authority continues construction for the North Shore Connector in the area of Stanwix Street where it intersects both Liberty Avenue and Penn Avenue, there are street closures and detours to be aware of near our Three Gateway Center office. Note that the Gateway Center Garage will remain open for parking. The directions below can assist with determining if you will need an alternate route coming to or leaving Houston Harbaugh’s office.
Liberty Avenue will be closed at Stanwix Street starting on October 20, 2009 for 365 calendar days (1 year). In addition, one lane of Penn Avenue will be opening on October 19, 2009. The detour for Liberty Avenue is as follows:
Liberty Avenue Outbound – The detour for outbound Liberty Avenue will be a right turn onto 7th Street, then a left turn onto Penn Avenue merging back onto Liberty at Three Gateway Center.
Liberty Avenue Inbound – The detour for inbound Liberty Avenue will be to exit the Fort Pitt Bridge onto Blvd of the Allies and make a left turn onto Smithfield Street, and back to Liberty Avenue.
The detour for Stanwix Street is as follows:
Stanwix Street Northbound from the Blvd of the Allies to Fort Duquesne – Detour will use Stanwix Street, left on Liberty Avenue outbound, and then right on Commonwealth Place to Fort Duquesne Blvd.
Stanwix Street Southbound from Fort Duquesne Blvd to Blvd of the Allies – Detour will be Fort Duquesne Eastbound, right on 6th Street, left on Liberty Avenue inbound, right on Smithfield Street, right on Blvd of the Allies, right on Stanwix Street.

From the Pittsburgh International Airport
Follow signs from the airport for 60 South and 279 North. Follow 279 North through the Fort Pitt Tunnel and onto the Fort Pitt Bridge. Once on the bridge, take the Liberty Avenue exit (it will be the middle exit of 3 exits). Go down the ramp through the light. Enter the Gateway Center Garage located on the right-hand side of the road before the next light. Three Gateway Center is located next to The Pittsburgh Hilton Hotel on Liberty Avenue. Take I-79 South which merges into 279 South. Follow 279 South signs for Airport/Fort Pitt Bridge. Follow this sign over the Fort Pitt Bridge and take the Liberty Avenue exit (it will be the middle exit of 3 exits). Go down the ramp through the light. Enter the Gateway Center Garage located on the right-hand side of the road before the next light. Three Gateway Center is located next to The Pittsburgh Hilton Hotel on Liberty Avenue. Take Turnpike (I-76 West) to Exit #57 (Old Exit #6) Monroeville-Pittsburgh onto Parkway 376 West. Exit 376 at Exit #2 Stanwix Street (left-hand exit). Proceed straight through the light at the end of the Stanwix Street exit. Keep in far left lane and turn at the first light (onto the Boulevard of the Allies). Go to the far right lane and enter Gateway Center Garage. At street level, go to Liberty Avenue and enter Three Gateway Center.
