PITTSBURGH, PA, July 2010 – Brad Franc and Greg Harbaugh are recognized in the July edition of Pittsburgh magazine as FIVE STAR Wealth ManagersSM.
Pittsburgh magazine contracted an independent market research company to administer a rigorous research process that included input from Pittsburgh-based high net worth consumers and financial services professionals. Before finalizing the list, wealth managers were reviewed by a blue ribbon panel of local financial services industry experts.
Brad concentrates his practice in the areas of business planning, commercial transactions, federal and state tax issues, and estate and succession planning. Brad was named a Top 100 Attorney across the U.S. by Worth magazine. Some of Brad’s projects have included the formation, acquisition and sale of manufacturing, high tech and service-related companies, raising capital through private placements and negotiating and securing traditional as well as venture capital financing. Brad has structured sophisticated estate plans for closely held business owners and high net worth individuals. Brad graduated from the Pennsylvania State University. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law graduating in the top ten percent of his class with honors including the Law Review, Order of the Coif and Robert Maxwell DeBroff Award for corporate law.
Greg co-founded Houston Harbaugh in 1975. He concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, tax and general corporate matters and estate planning and administration. In his estate planning practice, Greg works with high-net worth individuals and uses advanced techniques to minimize federal and state death taxes and to transfer wealth in a controlled manner. Greg’s corporate practice includes structuring business arrangements including mergers and acquisitions, and assisting with succession planning for businesses and healthcare groups. Greg graduated from Albright College. He received his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center.
