Veteran Transaction Attorney, Harrison Lauer, Joins Houston Harbaugh’s Corporate Practice

January 16, 2018 | Harrison Lauer has joined the firm as a director in its Corporate Practice.

Lauer is an accomplished banking, business, and real estate attorney. He has served as the lead lawyer representing top five U.S. banks and major businesses – closing more than 90 commercial and industrial and real estate financing transactions in aggregate principal amounts exceeding $10 billion.

He represents many of the region’s banks and other lenders in their commercial transactions. Over his career, he has led teams in the completion of more than 30 syndicated financings, including loan facilities for more than 10 large publicly held companies. He has represented lenders and businesses in commercial and industrial loans, real estate construction, development and acquisition financings, acquisition facilities, asset-based loans, equipment finance, crossborder transactions, and asset securitizations.

Prior to joining Houston Harbaugh, Lauer was a member of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC.

He received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College.
