Harrison is an accomplished banking, business, and real estate lawyer with three decades of experience.

He has served as the lead lawyer representing top five U.S. banks and major businesses – closing more than 90 commercial and industrial and real estate financing transactions in aggregate principal amounts exceeding $10 billion.

He represents many of the region’s banks and other lenders in their commercial transactions. Over his career, he has led teams in the completion of more than 30 syndicated financings, including loan facilities for more than 10 large publicly held companies. He has represented lenders and businesses in commercial and industrial loans, real estate construction, development and acquisition financings, acquisition facilities, asset-based loans, equipment finance, crossborder transactions, and asset securitizations.

Harrison also serves as outside counsel for clients across industries and has closed multi-million-dollar business sales and reorganizations in the manufacturing, service, health care, and retail sectors.

  • Represented a top five U.S. bank in a $200-million loan facility for a major U.S. homebuilder that included a shadow collateralization and springing lien on over 1,000 residential and commercial real estate properties.
  • Closed a series of blind pool commercial real estate acquisition facilities totaling over $300 million over a three-year period for a large U.S. real estate fund as counsel to lenders and agents. Each included pre-approved acquisition and collateral security criteria and procedures.
  • Closed over 100 middle market C&I and real estate financings for banks, other lenders and borrowers.
  • Closed multiple acquisitions and financings for the buyer totaling over $100-million in regional roll-ups in the telecommunications industry.
  • Created state-of-the-art syndicated loan documentation for a top five U.S. bank, including automated elections for optional provisions.
